WPSC Young Investigator Award

Two abstracts involving research of scientific merit will be selected for the WPSC Young Investigator Award. Each winner will receive a travel grant equivalent to the cost of a round trip economy-class air ticket, 3 nights hotel accommodation and waiver of registration fee.

All young scientists submitting presentations are encouraged to apply. Applicants must:

Be under the age of 35 at the start of the Congress.
Be a resident of Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan or Thailand. This should be included in personal curriculum vitae.
Submit an abstract and be the presenting author of the abstract.
Indicate "I wish to be considered for the Young Investigator Award" on the abstract application form.
Submit the registration form and pay the registration fee in advance. The registration fee will be reimbursed at the time of the Congress.

The Scientific Committee will make the final judgment for awards and winners will be informed in advance. The awards will be presented during the opening ceremony on 2nd December 2010. Abstracts must be based on results that have not been published in any journal or presented at any national or international scientific conference prior to 2nd December 2010.
